The flow meter is the most convenient and easiest way to find out if your cartridge(s) have been exhausted and needs to be changed.

The digital flow meter which is attached to the Big Blue filter housing is programmed
to set off an alarm when either:
1. The pre-set volume of water (in litres) has been exceeded.
2. The pre-set time interval has been exceeded.
